Day 1 — Arrival in Johannesburg
Arrive in Johannesburg to a warm, VIP-style welcome, with fast-track assistance where available and a private transfer to a chic luxury hotel. Take time to refresh, unwind, and settle in before an elegant welcome dinner that sets the tone for the journey ahead.
Day 2 — Soweto Tour
Set out with a private guide to explore Soweto’s vibrant streets and pivotal historical sites, engaging in meaningful conversations about South Africa’s past and present. Continue to the Apartheid Museum for an immersive, reflective visit, before returning to the hotel for a refined dinner.
Day 3 — Pilanesberg National Park
Depart Johannesburg on a scenic journey to a luxury lodge in Pilanesberg, where a smooth check-in and beautifully appointed suite await. After time to settle in, venture out on an afternoon game drive in search of the Big Five, ending with sunset cocktails and a gourmet lodge dinner.
Day 4 — Safari Morning Game Drive
Wake before dawn for coffee and pastries before your morning game drive with expert rangers. Return to the lodge to relax by the pool or indulge in spa time, then head out again for an afternoon drive, concluding with starlit dining and stories shared around the fire.
Day 5 - Cape Town
Savor a final sunrise game drive followed by a leisurely breakfast before bidding farewell to the bush. Enjoy a smooth transfer to the airport for your flight to Cape Town, then arrive at an upscale hotel with views of Table Mountain for a relaxed evening at leisure.
Day 6 — Table Mountain & City Tour
Ascend to Table Mountain by cableway or scenic route, weather permitting, for sweeping views over Cape Town. Continue with a privately guided city tour through vibrant neighborhoods and key landmarks, followed by curated recommendations for an exceptional evening of fine dining.
Day 7 — Franschhoek Winelands

Is South Africa safe for travelers?

Will I need a passport?
Yes. Traveling abroad requires a passport valid for six months beyond your travel dates. Please make sure that your passport does not expire within six months of travel.
What are the available payment plans?
We offer flexible, milestone-based payment schedules. You can secure your spot with an initial deposit, followed by structured installments leading up to your departure date.
What level of physical fitness is required?
The itinerary is designed for leisurely elegance. While there are light walking tours and game drives, no strenuous physical exertion is required to fully enjoy the curated experience.
Will I need a Visa?
A tourist visa is not required for stays up to 90 days however passengers are required to have at least two, entirely blank (unstamped) visa pages (i.e. one side of such a page not front and back thereof) in their passport, each time entry is sought into South Africa. These pages are in addition to the endorsement/amendment pages at the back of the passport. South African government regulations prohibit airlines from boarding passengers without the required blank visa page.
What currency is used in South Africa?
The currency is the South African Rand (ZAR). Credit cards are widely accepted, but it's good to carry some cash for small purchases.
When is the best time to visit South Africa?

Payments Deposits Are Non-Refundable
All payments to Ket Travels LLC are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable due to contractual agreements with hotels, airlines, and other vendors.
Payment Deadlines
A detailed payment schedule will be provided at the time of booking. All installment payments must be received in full by the stated deadlines in order to secure your participation. Late or missed payments may result in automatic cancellation of your reservation and forfeiture of some or all amounts paid, in accordance with the applicable policy. When you book, we’ll calculate an evenly divided automatic billing plan for you, and you will know in advance the day of every month that your payment will be processed. Your initial deposit is due at the time of booking, and your future payments will be charged according to the schedule you see on your invoice. Automatic billing is available at no charge. Late payment fee of $150 per person applies after the final payment date on your invoice.
Cancellation Policy
Guest-initiated cancellations are subject to cancellation fees that increase as the departure date approaches. Certain components of the trip, including but not limited to airfare, special events, or select accommodations, may be fully non-refundable once confirmed. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to be considered valid.
Name Change Policy
Name changes may be permitted on a case-by-case basis and are subject to administrative fees, third-party supplier approval, and any additional fare or rate differences. Changes requested close to the departure date may be treated as a full cancellation and new booking, with the corresponding fees and forfeitures applied. A $150 Name Change Fee + vendor fees will apply.
Travel Insurance Recommendation
All travelers are strongly encouraged to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation and interruption, emergency medical coverage, evacuation, and baggage protection. Choosing not to obtain adequate coverage is entirely at the traveler’s own risk, and Ket Travels LLC will not be responsible for any losses, expenses, or damages that could have been covered by insurance.
